FESTIVAL FEVER

This chocolate festival was held in Perugia (Italy), the chocolate capital of the world. They say chocolate is the food of the Gods, you can feel like a God during chocolate festival. During the chocolate festival in Perugia you can eat all kinds of chocolate. There are chocolate samples, sculptures, chocolate spa. There is even chocolate themed nightlife. "Dolce al Cioccolato". It was invented 120 years ago. It is a mix of cocoa powder, 15 spices, almonds, flour and sugar. Everything tastes together without the use of fats. There is no butter, no milk, no eggs. You also get to see some very creative sculptures such as the Igloo. This Igloo is made of 3,600 kilos of chocolate. WOOOOOW!!! England's biggest music festival. It's been running for over thirty years and it's been getting bigger and more popular all the time. Every year, crowds of people are attracted by new bands, fantastic circus acts, plays, bodypainting, craft workshops and lots more. The atmosphere is friendly and everyone's in a good mood.
. Firework madness! The Night of Fire happens once a year in Mallorca. The people dressed as devils are called 'Demones'. Each year they get more and more strident. So far no spectators have been burned to death, but in case of any accidents the nearest fireman is only 20 minutes away.

The International Dance Festival in Ladek, Poland also attracts crowds of people every year. Click on the link and watch the incredible photo gallery!

LET'S HAVE SOME FUN!

Have you ever tried ORIGAMI ?

This traditional Japanese art of paper folding started at the end of the 17th century AD and was popularized outside of Japan in the mid-1900s. The goal of this art is to transform a flat sheet of paper into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques so that the use of scissors or glue are not necessary at all.

The number of basic origami folds is small, but they can be combined in a variety of ways to make intricate designs. The best known origami model is probably the Japanese paper crane (large bird with long legs and a long neck).
In general, these designs begin with a square sheet of paper whose sides may be different colours. The principles of origami are also being used in packaging and other engineering structures.

Aren't they cute?

SONG by Jack Johnson

Let's watch and sing along!!!

         "Upside Down" (Lyrics)

 Who's to say
What's impossible
Well they forgot
This world keeps spinning
And with each new day
I can feel a change in everything
And as the surface breaks reflections fade
But in some ways they remain the same
And as my mind begins to spread its wings
There's no stopping curiosity

I want to turn the whole thing upside down
I'll find the things they say just can't be found
I'll share this love I find with everyone
We'll sing and dance to Mother Nature's songs
I don't want this feeling to go away

Who's to say
I can't do everything
Well I can try
And as I roll along I begin to find
Things aren't always just what they seem
I want to turn the whole thing upside down
I'll find the things they say just can't be found
I'll share this love I find with everyone
We'll sing and dance to Mother Nature's songs
This world keeps spinning and there's no time to waste
Well it all keeps spinning spinning round and round and

Upside down
Who's to say
what's impossible and can't be found
I don't want this feeling to go away
 Please don't go away
Please don't go away
Please don't go away

Is this how it's supposed to be
Is this how it's supposed to be
